I usually hand make my own wreaths for Christmas using traditional materials, pine branches, cones, berries etc but this year I couldn’t go out collecting all these items due to a knee injury so I came up with the idea of knitting a wreath to do something completely different and I am really pleased with the finished wreath.
It took a few weeks to make as knitted everything apart from the ribbon and pine cones. I bought a wreath ring and knitted the cover which i then attached by sewing, then I chose what to decorate it with and got knitting.
I then attached battery lights to it and then fixed it to the front door. I think the whole wreath was very effective.
